Elisabeth Philips-Slavkoff is a colorist painter and digital artist. Her work is informed by an intense interest in art history. Sources of inspiration are the North Sea and her regular travels to China and the Canaries. Elisabeth is also active in the field of critical theory and philosophy of modernity, her major research interest being Modern Chinese Art. She lives and works in her native Vienna, Austria and in Oostduinkerke on the Belgian North Sea Coast.
